The top question today has been “Where do the applications come from (location).”

I was curious as well, so here are the numbers:

14% of the applicants are from California
10% of the applications are from Colorado
8% of the applications are from New York
6% of the applications are from Pennsylvania
Other big states are Texas, Indiana, Illinois, Massachusetts, Washington, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, and Virginia.

Winning the top ‘out of the US’ honors: Ontario, Canada.

Arkansas, Puerto Rico, and Tennessee all have the honor of having only one applicant.

We have over 40 applications from outside of North America.

So if I'm in Colorado will you pay for me to go somewhere else? Why keep looking for external talent when the interest is already in our backyard? /devilsadvocate

We are going to have a locals night for local applicants. We have had quite a bit of press here, it makes sense that there are applications from the home state.
